The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) mentioned that an officer tried to pull over a driver on Bath Road in Loyalist Township, located west of Kingston around 10:55 p. m. Tuesday night. A short while later, the vehicle went off into the ditch and sank into the lake.OPP officers and members from Ontario's Special Investigations Unit were present at the scene for vehicle recovery efforts in Lake Ontario.
