Police have arrested three individuals from Brampton following a significant theft of alcohol from an Ontario store.

The incident took place around 4:15 p. m. on Monday when officers from the Caledon detachment were called to a location on Riddell Road near Centennial Road in Orangeville, according to the OPP.

Authorities report that three suspects entered the shop and “took thousands of dollars worth of alcohol” without paying before escaping in a vehicle.

Just before 5 p. m., police found the suspect’s vehicle after it was involved in a two-car accident near Heart Lake Road in Caledon.

No one was injured during the crash, and all three suspects were taken into custody by police.

The OPP has charged Ankit Ankit, 26, Iqlovedeep Singh, 29, and Simranjeet Singh, 27, all hailing from Brampton, with several offenses including theft under $5,000.
