A father and one of his children are in critical condition following a crash in the Markham area, while a second child in the vehicle also sustained serious injuries.
On Friday afternoon, a father and his two young kids were hurt, with two of them being critically injured, due to a head-on collision in Markham.
The incident took place around 4:45 p. m. at Major Mackenzie Drive and Mc Cowan Road.
According to an update from CP24 on Saturday morning, York Regional Police report that a 42-year-old man and one of his children are still in critical condition after the accident.
The other child, who is also under 10 years old, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police state that the accident involved two vehicles colliding head-on, noting that no one from the other vehicle was hurt.
