Thunder Bay – NEWS – A part of Oliver Road was shut down on Saturday due to a car accident that led to a police investigation west of Thunder Bay.

This closure impacts traffic between Highway 11/17 and Belrose Road, which is a key route for drivers traveling between Thunder Bay and nearby areas. The Thunder Bay Police Service mentioned that the road will be closed for an extended period.

Traffic unit from police looking into Saturday’s accident

Emergency responders arrived at the scene of the crash around 11:50 a. m. on March 28.

The Thunder Bay Police Service stated that their traffic unit is looking into the incident on Oliver Road. As of Saturday afternoon, no additional information regarding those involved or the extent of injuries has been provided.

Authorities indicated that Oliver Road is closed between Highway 11/17 and Belrose Road, and more updates will follow as they become available.
