This project involves site work, new construction, and renovation for a mixed-use development located in Toronto, Ontario. The design plans include building a massive 7,782,123-square-foot, 11-story structure with 8,400 residential units. There will also be renovations on a retail space that spans 378,000 square feet across one story. Additionally, a parking garage with one story below ground and capacity for 2,522 vehicles is planned. This venture covers the construction of 739,567 m2 of Gross Floor Area (GFA), which features the adaptive reuse of an existing heritage building-the Richard L. Hearn Generating Station site-along with seven new buildings that incorporate tower elements throughout the area. A combination of retail spaces and other commercial uses is expected along with those 8,400 residential units and ample parking for vehicles. Non-residential areas could exceed 35,000 m2 and will be finalized as the design progresses.
