Riding history
The riding of Perth-Wellington was created in 2003 from portions of three different ridings: Dufferin-Peel-Wellington-Grey, Perth-Middlesex and Waterloo-Wellington ridings. Liberal John Wilkinson served this riding from 2003 until 2011. Progressive Conservative Randy Pettapiece took over in 2011 and remained until he chose not to seek re-election in 2022. Rae secured the seat in that same year.Source link
