Authorities have shared a picture of a man believed to be involved in a home invasion that occurred during breakfast hours in an Ontario town.
Halton Regional Police report that on July 21 of this year, at 9 a. m., the suspect entered a house through a window near Kerr Street and Speers Road in Oakville.
“Once inside the suspect confronted an adult resident and brandished a knife while demanding cash,” police say. “A small amount of cash was provided and the suspect fled the residence.”
The victim did not sustain any injuries.
Police describe the suspect as being in his early to mid-20s, with a heavy build, medium-length dark hair, and dressed in black clothing along with white sneakers during the incident.
He is also thought to be knowledgeable about the transit system.
