York Region police are on the lookout for a man after someone intentionally set a vehicle on fire and shot at it in Vaughan.
Authorities say that just before 7 a. m. on September 17, a local resident in the Forest Heights Boulevard and Highway 27 area witnessed an individual allegedly ignite their vehicle.
The blaze was extinguished quickly, and thankfully, there were no injuries reported.

Police noted that the suspect’s vehicle had been reported stolen in Toronto and was also involved in another shooting incident in Peel Region later that same evening.
The suspect is described as around five-feet-10 tall and was last observed wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jogging pants, black running shoes with white soles, and grey gloves.
If anyone has any information regarding this incident or knows anything about the suspect, they are encouraged to contact the police.
