We are heartbroken to share the news of Rose-Marie Hennin (Rosie) (nee Beaudoin), who passed away peacefully on November 2, at the age of 81. She is now reunited in heaven with her husband Carl. Rose was a devoted mother to Sheryl, Shawn (Shelagh), a caring Mémé to Kayla and Chase, and a loving great-Mémé to Kastyn. She was predeceased by her siblings Mary-Jane (Gerard), Carmel (Gerald), and Roger, and is survived by her siblings Vince (Bonnie) and Colleen (Dan). Her sister and brother-in-law Doris, Harold, Norman, Gary, and Connie also predeceased her; she is survived by Larry, Jo Ann, and Carl Carter. Many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends will miss her dearly-especially Georgette, her close friend since childhood.
Rose was a dedicated Catholic actively involved with St. Anne’s Parish. She enjoyed serving as a Eucharistic Minister during Mass and bringing communion to those who were sick. Traveling and playing cards brought her joy too; however, nothing made her happier than spending time with family. Known for standing up for others in need, she generously shared both her time and resources within the community.
Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7235) on Thursday November 6th from 3-5pm and again from 7-9pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd E) on Friday November 7th at 1pm with burial following at St. Anne’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Transition to Betterness, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Children’s Aid Society Christmas program. For contributions to Children’s Aid charity please purchase a gift card from your favorite store like Walmart or Toys R Us or any grocery store you prefer. Online condolences and treasured memories can be shared with the family at www. windsorchapel. com
