Fatal Collision on Highway 17 Claims Two Lives

Fatal Collision on Highway 17 Claims Two Lives

Two men lost their lives in a head-on crash on Highway 17, just east of Renfrew, Ont., according to provincial police.

The drivers, one aged 55 from Renfrew and another aged 71 from Ottawa, were declared dead at the scene, according to OPP.

As of 6:30 p. m., Highway 17 remained closed between Anderson and Goshen roads.

The OPP is continuing its investigation and urges anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to get in touch.
