The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are looking into a serious head-on crash that resulted in the deaths of two drivers Thursday night in Middlesex Centre, just north of London, Ont.
Emergency services were called to Highbury Ave. N. between Thirteen and Fourteen Mile roads around 7:40 p. m., according to police reports.
The drivers, who were the only ones in their vehicles, were rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Sadly, both drivers-a 75-year-old man from St. Thomas and a 28-year-old man from Georgian Bluffs-were later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Authorities closed down roads in the area overnight but reopened them early Friday morning.
If anyone has information about this incident, they are urged to contact OPP.
