July 30, 1963, to September 30, 2025
With great sadness, we share the news of Mark Desjardins’ passing at the age of 62. He is now reunited with his parents, Ferdinand and Opal Desjardins. Mark will be fondly remembered by his brothers Wayne (Bonnie) and Gary, as well as his sister Suzanne. As a Special Uncle to Logan, Noah, Nolan, Sofia, Elanore, Steven, and Alexei, he made a lasting impact on their lives. For 22 years, Mark was a proud and respected member of the Canada Revenue Agency. He truly exemplified what it means to be a gentleman through his kind nature and willingness to help others. His friendships spanned far and wide.
Mark had a passion for sports and was a dedicated fan of the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Lions. His love for tennis also helped him forge many friendships over the years. A large circle of friends will miss him dearly but will always carry on his memory with smiles from all the fun times shared together. Even though he’s no longer here with us physically, his spirit continues in those he inspired.
Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234) on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 2 -5pm and again from 7 -9pm. A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, October 7, 2025 with visitation starting at 10am followed by services at 10:30am.
