The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is looking into the fire that destroyed the Villa Nova motel on Mosley Street in Wasaga Beach.

According to OPP, the blaze that affected a motel on the main street in Wasaga Beach is now being treated as suspicious, and officials are seeking help from the public.

Just before midnight on Monday, emergency teams arrived at the Villa Nova Motel on Mosley Street, which was completely engulfed in flames when they got there.

Authorities report that most of the fire was contained to the second floor.

Although the building is now unlivable, everyone inside managed to escape safely and no injuries have been reported.

Anyone with information about this fire is encouraged to reach out to Huronia West OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

For those who prefer to remain anonymous, they can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Police mention that any information provided could lead to a cash reward of up to $2,000.
