Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are looking into a five-car accident that left six people hurt over the weekend.

Just after 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Lanark County OPP reported that officers responded to a collision on Highway 7 in Innisville, Ont., located just east of Perth.

Of the six individuals injured, three were taken to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, according to an OPP news release on Monday. One person was in critical condition Monday, while others have been treated and released from the hospital.

The ages of the victims varied from 17 to 78 years old, added the OPP.
