Ontario Provincial Police say a 22-year-old Brampton man is going through 10 charges after an officer allegedly caught him dashing at practically twice the restrict whereas impaired on Freeway 410.

In response to a publish on social media, an officer tried to cease a car travelling 193 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on the southbound 410, simply south of Queen Road.

Police say the driving force fled however was ultimately stopped and brought into custody.

The OPP allege the person was impaired on the time.

Police say the driving force is going through 10 charges, together with 4 Felony Code charges and 6 charges below the Provincial Offences Act.

The suspect’s car has been impounded and his driver’s licence suspended.

In a publish on X, police known as impaired driving mixed with excessive velocity “a deadly combination,” saying the behaviour “puts everyone at risk.”
