Here’s what you can expect to be open or closed in Brampton during the Labour Day long weekend on September 7.
Open:
Bramalea City Centre (11 a. m. to 6 p. m.). Some smaller grocery stores, like Rabba grocery stores. Most Shoppers Drug Mart locations. Most restaurants will be open, but it’s wise to call ahead. Movie theatres. Brampton Recreation facilities will operate with adjusted holiday hours. Certain Beer Store locations: 198 Queen St. E. 180 Sandalwood Pkwy. 80 Peel Centre Dr. Brampton Civic Hospital. Peel Memorial Centre Urgent Care Centre. All essential services such as fire and emergency services, along with police. Service Brampton. All City trails, playgrounds and parks. YMCA locations in both Brampton and Mississauga (8 a. m. to 4 p. m.).
Other Major Malls:
Toronto Premium Outlets (9:30 a. m. to 7 p. m.). Square One Shopping Centre (11 a. m. to 6 p. m.). Vaughan Mills (11 a. m. to 7 p. m.). Eaton Centre (11 a. m. to 7 p. m.). Pacific Mall (10 a. m. to 7 p. m.).
Closed:
Shoppers World. LCBO locations. Most Wine Rack outlets, but it’s best to call ahead just in case. Banks. Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA). Government offices. Brampton City Hall. All branches of the Brampton Library. Brampton Animal Shelter. Community Centres. Canada Post (no mail pickup or delivery). Garbage and recycling will be collected one day later than usual. Community Recycling Centres. Non-emergency Region of Peel services include: Access Peel Counters, Dental Services Contact Centre, Early Years and Child Care Services, Family Health Call Centre, Healthy Sexuality Clinics, Harm Reduction Program – Mobile Van, Ontario Works in Peel, Housing Services, Client Services. All public and community clinics are closed today, as well as all vaccination clinics.
Transit
