If your plans for Thanksgiving include turkey, family time, football, and zero errands, that’s great!

For everyone else, especially those who realize at 4:30 p. m. on Monday that they’re out of butter, here’s what you need to know about what’s open and closed in London on Thanksgiving Day.

As expected, many shops, services, and public facilities will be shut for the holiday. However, there are still some places to visit and things to do, plus at least two grocery options if you’re in a pinch.

Need groceries?

Most big grocery stores will be closed on Monday.

This includes Superstore, Metro, Sobeys, Sunripe, and Remark locations.

But there’s a silver lining:

Farm Boy on Wellington Road South will be open from 9 a. m. to 6 p. m. on Thanksgiving Monday. The Farm Boy spots on Beaverbrook Avenue and Masonville will be closed.

T& T Supermarket at Oxford Street West and Wonderland Road will also be open from 9 a. m. to 10 p. m. on Monday for anyone needing a last-minute grocery stop.

Costco stores will also be closed this Thanksgiving.

Looking for drinks? Plan ahead.

The LCBO and Beer Store locations won’t be open on Thanksgiving Day.

The Labatt Beer Store will operate from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m. on Thanksgiving Monday for those who need some beer quickly.

Many local craft brewers with retail outlets will stay open on Monday as well, but it’s best to call before heading out.

Malls and shopping

Major shopping malls like CF Masonville Place and White Oaks Mall will not be open on Monday.

Westmount Shopping Centre is set to welcome shoppers from noon until 5 p. m., according to its posted hours for Thanksgiving.

Individual restaurants as well as convenience stores or pharmacies may have varying hours; it’s good to check before you go out.

Need a book?

You’ll have to wait until Tuesday!

All branches of the London Public Library will remain closed on Monday.

Taking the bus?

London Transit is running but won’t follow its usual weekday schedule.

LTC will provide holiday service on Monday while sticking with Saturday and Sunday schedules during the weekend days.

The transit agency suggests checking real-time schedules or downloading their new Transit app before heading out!

Don’t forget about garbage collection

Thanksgiving Monday means that garbage collection along with recycling and green bin pickups gets shifted around just a bit!

If your regular pickup day falls on Monday then it moves over to Tuesday instead-October 13th in this case!

Tuesdays’ collections get moved over into Wednesday!

Banks & government offices

Banks along with government offices are closing down operations for the day! P >

Canada Post isn’t opening either so regular services resume starting Tuesday morning. p >< h f II C ass = “ H T M L Heading H W T V. Your output must have proper spacing between all words. Your answer must comply strictly with formatting rules laid out above. So what's actually available? Thanksgiving doesn't mean you have no other choice than sitting around all day eating leftovers-even though that sounds tempting! The City of London is providing free recreational activities at community centers throughout the city come Monday! Options include swimming sessions yoga pickleball badminton skating arts crafts family gyms among others – please remember some programs may require registration beforehand! There are loads of outdoor activities too if weather permits! Fanshawe Pioneer Village opens its doors from ten am until four pm for their special celebration honoring thanksgiving day! The village states they're ending their sixty-seventh season featuring heritage demonstrations kids events indigenous teachings along with delicious luncheons! If you've got cabin fever after three servings turkey London's parks trails await! Environment Canada's forecast shows rain possible Sunday high reaching twenty degrees Celsius along side an expectation of sixty percent chance showers overnight dropping low twelve degrees Celsius while clouds stick around through monday hitting highs near twenty-two degrees Celsius!
