UPDATE: Halton Regional Police say that Nana-Yaw Asante, a 23-year-old Hamilton man believed to be mistakenly launched from custody in Burlington, was situated and arrested late Saturday in Oshawa with out incident.
Hamilton Police had sought public help in finding Asante after he was mistakenly launched from custody on Thursday (Oct. 10) following an unrelated courtroom look in Burlington.
An arrest warrant was issued for unlawfully being at giant, police mentioned.
Asante is going through charges by the Ontario Provincial Police together with tried homicide with a firearm.
Investigators described Asante as Black, 5-foot-5, and weighing 145 kilos with black hair and brown eyes. Authorities suggested the general public to not method him and to name 911 if he was seen.
