Tina Joy Grenard, age 46, from North York, Ontario, Canada, who recently lived in Lafayette, Indiana, passed away on July 25, 2026.

She was the loving wife of Jeromy Grenard for over 25 wonderful years and the devoted mother of six amazing kids: Jaden, Sienna, Bailey, Aleah, Paisley, and Colton. Tina was preceded in death by her father, Gary Henry. She is survived by her mother, Donna Henry; her siblings Troy Henry (Joanne) and Tonya Wright (Chris); along with her siblings-in-law Cindi Rathburn (Ryan) and Jerod Grenard. Many cherished nephews and a niece also survive her: Noah and Gauge Rathburn, Kevin and Kaitlyn Henry, Hudson and Hendrix Wright.

Tina was born on July 8, 1980 at North York General Hospital in Toronto’s area of Ontario. As the oldest of three children, she spent much of her childhood in Whitby. A bright student and proud honor roll member, she graduated from Henry Street High School in 1998. In 1999 she moved to the U. S. to further her education at Indiana Bible College where she met Jeromy Grenard. They married on November 11, 2000 and enjoyed a beautiful life together filled with love and faith.

Tina and Jeromy were blessed with six incredible children including two they adopted. They also welcomed more than 30 foster children into their home over the years. Her influence as a mother shaped countless lives; the legacy she built will last for generations.

In Canada during her early years, Tina was an ambitious student who loved reading anything she could find-especially Nancy Drew books. She started working at age ten as a newspaper carrier then took on babysitting jobs before managing Dairy Queen shifts. After moving to Indiana, she worked as a dental surgery assistant before fully embracing being a homemaker while serving as the primary teacher for her kids throughout their schooling.

Tina excelled at planning and multitasking-balancing numerous responsibilities effortlessly. Even during chemotherapy treatments in her last year, she stayed committed to educating her children by grading assignments right from her hospital bed using her tablet.

She was truly the heart of her family and an essential part of Apostolic Tabernacle Church under Pastor James Jones. Tina dedicated herself to being a loving wife, mother, hands-on teacher, and servant of God. She had a unique gift for connecting with people around her while inspiring them to take action. Her passion for sharing God’s love reached out to everyone whether young or old wherever she went. Being adventurous at heart, didn’t compare to how much joy time spent with family brought her.

Tina will be fondly remembered for hosting extravagant themed parties, giving grand Thanksgiving dinners that could feed an army, and always prioritizing others’ needs above hers. Her motto seemed to be “If you want something done, get it done by someone busy.”

A competitive spirit showed through from childhood especially in board games. Tina loved creating moments for family bonding instead of relying solely on screens or technology. She spent hours gathered around the dinner table playing games with them, making unforgettable memories while nurturing their minds.

With warmth but also assertiveness, Tina’s encouragement led many toward achievements-a trait confirmed by both siblings & kids alike. Her actions spoke louder than words when it came down to accomplishing tasks. Passionately devoted not just towards family but also church & faith made an impact felt widely across communities!

No matter what challenges arose after receiving news about colon cancer diagnosis & declining health, she never wavered in faith nor questioned why this happened. Tinas’ unwavering resolve set forth shining examples demonstrating true Christian living! Though our time together feels way too brief, we’re incredibly grateful having known such genuine soul.

Services are set for Monday August 3rd at Apostolic Tabernacle Church located within Lafayette Indiana starting at precisely two o’clock PM officiated by Pastor James Jones. Following services burial takes place Stingley Cemetery. Welcoming visitors from eleven AM until service starts that day. Memorial contributions can graciously go towards Apostolic Tabernacle Church address provided:3024 Old State Road Twenty-five North, Lafayette IN.
