Provincial police report that a man who went missing after a kayaking trip on Lake Huron has been found deceased.
OPP state that the body of the 37-year-old was retrieved from Lake Huron near Grand Bend, Ont.
The search for the kayaker, who was from Kitchener, began after he was reported missing on Saturday afternoon.
Authorities say he set out from Bluewater, Ont., but did not return after several hours had passed.
Search-and-rescue operations continued through the night, involving marine and aviation units along with an emergency response team.
The man was discovered Sunday morning and pronounced dead shortly after.
