OXFORD COUNTY – Southwestern Public Health (SWPH) is working to spread the word about overdoses. In collaboration with the Oxford Mental Health and Addictions Action Coalition, various events are planned to inform the public, provide support and resources, and remember those we’ve lost to overdose. The first event took place yesterday afternoon in Museum Square, while today a booth will be available at Operation Sharing from 11:00 a. m. until 2:00 p. m. The last event is scheduled for tomorrow outside Tillsonburg Mall from 10:00 a. m. until noon. Anyone who attends these events can receive naloxone training, learn about local programs and services, meet community partners, and have a space to honor those who have died from overdose.
