A man is currently receiving treatment at a Toronto hospital after being stabbed in downtown Oshawa on Monday night.
Durham Police are searching for the attacker, described as a white male, around 25 years old, and wearing a hat and a jacket.
Officers were called to Oshawa Hospital after the victim reported he was stabbed during an argument with a group of people near Centre Street and Debwewin Miikan, close to Oshawa City Hall and just north of Memorial Park.
The victim was transported to a trauma center in Toronto with injuries that are not life-threatening.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
