A volunteer group in Guelph has kicked off a T-shirt campaign to help raise funds for community advocacy while supporting downtown businesses facing construction challenges.

Resistance & Resilience Guelph has collaborated with the vintage clothing store Three Pieces on the “Wear With Heart” initiative, which features an “I ♥ Guelph (even with construction)” T-shirt.

The group describes the shirt as “a cheeky way to show local pride, spark conversations, and give back to the community.”

Resistance & Resilience Guelph is a volunteer-driven organization that supports residents, businesses, and community-care groups dealing with issues like construction, tariffs, and global instability.

The organization will receive 20 per cent of net profits from each shirt sold.

Pre-orders for the initial batch end on August 7. Shirts are priced between $39 and $75, with higher-priced options allowing customers to contribute more to the cause.

The group encourages anyone who can’t afford a shirt to reach out to Wear With Heart to inquire about possible assistance. Customers can also buy a shirt for someone else at no charge.

This campaign aims to visibly support downtown businesses while helping fund Resistance & Resilience Guelph’s broader work in the community.
