With heavy hearts and fond memories, the family of Claudette Delia Drover (nee Boulerice) from Sault Ste. Marie announces her peaceful passing on Monday, July 6, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Claudette was born on April 13, 1938, in Bonfield Ontario, to the late Wilfred and Fabiola Boulerice. Growing up as one of fifteen children in the Boulerice family meant a lively household that nurtured her generous nature and ability to connect with everyone she met.
Claudette was truly the heart of her home. She will be remembered for her warm smile, kind nature, and generosity which shone brightly during family gatherings. You could often find her tending to her beautiful flowers and garden while enjoying a nice cup of coffee. She took great joy in reading stories to her grandchildren and those hugs she gave always seemed to last just a little longer. As a dedicated member of the Catholic Women’s League, she lived out her faith through kindness, compassion, and service within her community.
Claudette leaves behind her loving husband James Drover; children Jamie (Jill), Claude (Tammy), Carole, late Suzanne (Laverne), Leonard, Carmen, Richard (Kimberley); adoring grandchildren Mila, Cooper, Paige, Sydney, Caden, Riley, Joshua, Jenna, Monique, Shawn, Claudette, Kristy, Keith, Alicia; as well as 6 great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to nurse Lyvia and the entire staff at Algoma Residential Community Hospice. Your grace and compassionate care provided us with immense comfort during this time.
Family and friends are invited to come together on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 11:00 a. m. to 12:45 p. m. at Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East , 705-759-2522). The funeral service will start at 1:00 p. m., followed by Claudette’s resting place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) may be made in Claudette’s memory to A. R. C. H. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy can be shared at www. arthurfuneralhome. com for the family.
