The original alert covered the Kingston, Odessa, and Frontenac Islands areas and was later extended to include the area from Kingston to Pembroke. However, as of 1:30 p. m., the warning has been lifted for the whole region.
But before it ended, the warning caused quite a bit of damage in the Kingston area. There were reports of wires sparking in multiple locations throughout Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington (KFL& A), along with significant damage to trees, vehicles, and some buildings. At least two cars were hit by falling trees in Kingston.
