There was a heightened police presence on Quarter Town Line this morning.

UPDATE @ 9:30 a. m. – One person has been transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries following a weapons-related incident.

Oxford OPP officers responded to a residence on Quarter Town Line at approximately 3:30 a. m. today. Upon arrival, they discovered an individual with injuries that appeared to be caused by an edged weapon.

A second individual was arrested without any issues, and the investigation is still ongoing at this time.

TILLSONBURG – You may notice many police officers around Quarter Town Line in Tillsonburg.

The OPP has confirmed there’s an increased police presence in the area due to an active investigation. There’s no danger to public safety.
