Norfolk County’s farming community is grieving the loss of two seasonal farm workers from Jamaica who tragically died in a crash near Simcoe last week.

As reported by the , the victims have been named as David Lindsay and Rupert Bell, both employees of Schuyler Farms in Simcoe. The accident occurred on June 18 when the utility vehicle they were riding in collided with an SUV at the intersection of Blue Line Road and Concession 6 in Woodhouse.

The Ontario Provincial Police confirmed that two people in the off-road utility vehicle lost their lives at the scene, while a third passenger was taken to hospital.

OPP stated that their investigation is still underway, and no charges have been filed yet.
