A 63-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car in Barrie on Friday, according to police.
Authorities mentioned in a news release that they responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash at Big Bay Point Road and Hurst Drive around 4:15 p. m.
Several bystanders attempted to provide first aid to the motorcyclist, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car stayed at the location and did not suffer serious injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the accident or has information is encouraged to contact Barrie police.
The roads that were closed for investigation have since reopened.
