Niagara police are reaching out to the community for help identifying a vehicle linked to two different BB gun shootings that took place in St. Catharines on Wednesday. According to officers, around 8:50 p. m., a black SUV was seen driving in the area of St. Paul Street and James Street when someone inside the vehicle fired several rounds from a BB gun at a person walking on the sidewalk. Fortunately, the victim did not suffer any injuries. The SUV then drove away toward Ontario Street, last spotted heading northbound. Later that night, around 9:25 p. m., someone in Port Dalhousie reported being shot at while they were on Main Street near Elgin Street. In this incident, investigators say a black SUV passed by the victim, and an occupant inside shot multiple rounds at them with a BB gun. Thankfully, this victim was also unharmed.
