In a tragic event in Port Credit at the intersection of Hurontario Street and Lakeshore Road East, a senior couple was discovered critically injured on Thursday evening, June 19, 2026. Peel paramedics arrived on the scene just before 7:20 p. m. and attempted life-saving measures, but unfortunately, the couple did not survive their injuries upon reaching the hospital. The victims have been identified as Gary and Carol Sangwin, familiar faces in the community.

Their son, Jordan Sangwin, aged 46, is currently wanted under a Canada-wide warrant for two counts of first-degree murder. Peel Police have labeled him as armed and dangerous, urging anyone who sees him to avoid contact and to call 911 immediately. Jordan was last spotted wearing a grey long-sleeve shirt and dark shorts while carrying a black duffle bag in the Lakeshore Road area of Mississauga.
