The flood warning for Toronto has been lifted as the rain and storms clear out of the city.
Just after noon, the Toronto Region Conservation Authority called off a flood warning that was issued early Thursday morning.
The agency had been worried about significant flooding caused by heavy rain that started on Wednesday evening and continued overnight into Thursday morning.

By around 7 a. m., Toronto police announced they had shut down the Don Valley Parkway’s on/off ramp at Bloor and Bayview because of flooding. “Vehicles appear to be stuck in flood,” police wrote on social media. “No injuries reported.” Bayview was also briefly closed near the Brickworks. By about 12 p. m., TRCA indicated that conditions had improved, but they cautioned that heavy rainfall could still have lingering effects.
