Teen Charged in St. Clair Township Assault

Lambton OPP have charged a 16-year-old in an assault investigation in St. Clair Township.

Officers responded to a complaint on September 6, shortly after 12 a. m.

Police said an altercation had occurred, during which a youth assaulted an individual causing non-life-threatening injuries.

The teen, from Kitchener, is charged under the Criminal Code with assault and assault causing bodily harm.

The youth is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia at a later date.

The teen’s identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Lambton County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www. ontariocrimestoppers. ca.

They may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
