A man from Windsor matched the last six out of seven ENCORE numbers and has now won $100,000.
Scott Ludschuweit mentioned that he’s been playing the lottery for many years and always includes ENCORE on his tickets.
Ludschuweit shared with officials at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation that his wife keeps track of his tickets.
She called him after the draw on February 7th to let him know he had won.
“I didn’t believe her at first and thought she was kidding around until she sent me a screenshot of the winner screen,” said Ludschuweit. “That’s when it became real.”
He and his wife intend to remodel their kitchen, settle some bills, and save for their future.
The winning ticket was purchased at Canadian Tire Gas+ located on Tecumseh Road East in Windsor.
