The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking the public for assistance as they look into a hit-and-run accident that took place on Valentine’s Day.

According to police, between 7:30 a. m. and 8:30 a. m. on Saturday, a pickup truck collided with a light pole on the westbound E. C. Row Expressway off-ramp at Matchett Road.

The driver of the pickup truck left the scene, and investigators think the vehicle was driven away along Matchett Road.

If anyone saw the incident or has any information to share, please contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or report it online.

You can also submit anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) for a chance to receive a cash reward.
