Environment Canada has issued a yellow rainfall warning for parts of Ontario.
The alert was put in place at around 2:45 p. m. on Saturday and is expected to last into the evening, possibly extending into Sunday.
Heavy rain and thunderstorms are likely to move through areas such as Southern Grey County, Northern Grey County, Southern Bruce County, Southern Huron County, and Northern Huron County.
The warning previously included Sarnia-Lambton, but that area now has a Special Weather Statement instead.
The alert indicates that some areas could receive up to 80 millimeters of localized rain.
Environment Canada warns that water pooling on roads is probable. People are advised to steer clear of flooded roads and to stay indoors when severe weather hits.
