The province’s fire marshal is looking into the case of a man who was discovered dead in a limousine that caught fire last week in Whitby, Ont.

Durham Region police report that officers were called to the area near Consumers Drive and Brock Street just before 9 a. m. on Thursday to help with a fire incident.

Firefighters arrived at the scene for the vehicle fire and found someone deceased inside the limo.

Police have identified the man as Jason Webber, who was 46 years old.

An autopsy showed no signs of foul play, and it’s believed his injuries resulted from the fire.

The investigation into what caused the fire is still ongoing, according to police.
