For the second time in lower than a month, the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) has been acknowledged as an ideal place to work.
WRPS has been named one in every of Southwestern Ontario’s Prime Employers for 2025.
This comes on the heels of being named one in every of Waterloo Area’s Prime Employers for 2025 again in January.
In a launch it says WRPS was chosen for its dedication to group engagement, prioritizing member psychological well being and wellbeing, providing versatile work choices, offering aggressive advantages and supporting charitable causes.
WRPS is the seventh-largest police power in Ontario. Its 1,262 members serve the municipalities of Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and the Townships of Woolwich, Wellesley, Wilmot and North Dumfries.
“It is an incredible honour for the Waterloo Regional Police Service to be recognized as one of Southwestern Ontario’s Top Employers for 2025,” stated Mark Crowell, Chief of Police within the launch. “This recognition is a testament to the dedication, commitment, and professionalism of our members, who work tirelessly to serve the Waterloo Region community.”
