Police pulled over the motorcycle on Saturday night after getting a report from the public about a possible impaired driver.
A man from Wasaga Beach who was riding his motorcycle on Zoo Park Road this weekend is now facing charges for impaired driving.
Huronia West OPP officers received a call on Aug. 15 at 11:30 p. m. regarding a suspected impaired driver in Wasaga Beach and stopped a motorcycle on Zoo Park Road shortly after.
The 57-year-old man from Wasaga Beach was charged with operating while impaired by alcohol and having a blood alcohol concentration of 80 or higher.
The accused is set to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on Sept. 22, 2026, to respond to the charges. His driver’s licence has also been suspended for 90 days, and the motorcycle was impounded for seven days.
