Wasaga Beach is on the lookout for some great food trucks.
It’s reaching out to vendors to join one of Canada’s busiest beachfronts this summer and fall.
“This is about being part of the full Wasaga Beach summer experience,” said Mayor Brian Smith. “People come here for the beach, the events, and the atmosphere – and great food is a big part of that. We’re looking for mobile food vendors who want to be part of a destination that draws millions of visitors and continues to grow year after year.”
The Town’s upcoming events calendar features a variety of popular attractions designed to bring in large crowds repeatedly. Highlights include symphony fireworks on Canada Day, the award-winning Memories of Summer music festival – now expanding into a three-day event – and the launch of the Wasaga Beach Life Festival. Together, these events create multiple busy weekends and peak earning chances for vendors, supported by a steady flow of visitors returning to the beach all summer long.
Along with summer activities, Wasaga Beach is also extending its event season into fall. Returning favorites such as the Stonebridge Wasaga Beach Blues Festival and the Mayor’s Rodeo and Hootenanny Fall Festival aim to attract guests beyond traditional peak months. Town officials say this expanded calendar is part of a larger plan to boost local tourism and provide more steady income opportunities for vendors.

Vendors selected through the application process will also have an opportunity to take part in a planned Food Truck Festival in spring or summer 2027. The event is expected to further solidify Wasaga Beach’s growing reputation as a spot for food and entertainment.
As part of its ongoing investment in enhancing the beachfront experience, the Town seeks vendors who can offer quality menus, dependable service, and can work well in busy outdoor settings. Officials say successful applicants will play an important role in shaping the overall vibe for visitors, contributing to an inviting environment.
Interested vendors can review the full Request for Prequalification (RFPQ) and submit applications online through the Town’s Bids and Tenders platform: wasagabeach. bidsandtenders. ca
