York Regional Police are looking for a number of suspects after video surveillance captured them intentionally setting an auto restore store on hearth, leading to an explosion.
Authorities had been referred to as to an auto restore centre close to Freshway Drive and Creditstone Highway in Vaughan at round 3 a.m. on Monday for a report of a fireplace.
Surveillance footage exhibits two suspects in darkish clothes ignite the hearth. At one level, an explosion is created in consequence. The pair flee in a dark-coloured sedan with a getaway driver.
Police mentioned the entrance window was damaged, and the inside was set on hearth. Two individuals had been inside on the time of the alleged arson. The primary individual managed to flee, whereas a second needed to be rescued by first responders, who extinguished the hearth.
No accidents had been reported, and the Ontario Hearth Marshal is investigating.
