A man has died following an industrial accident in Vaughan on Thursday, according to York police.

Officers arrived at the scene around noon on Thursday on Applewood Crescent, as stated in a police email.

A man was declared dead at the site after paramedics assessed him there.

Authorities mentioned that the Ministry of Labour is looking into the matter.

A representative from the Ministry of Labour noted in an email that they had been informed about an incident involving Plastic and Paper Sales Inc.

They indicated a worker had been trapped between materials, but no further details were available regarding the ongoing investigation.
