Authorities in Halton Region are on the lookout for a vehicle following the tragic death of a woman in Burlington on Thursday.

According to investigators, the woman was near Maple Avenue and Richmond Road when she was hit around 3:45 p. m.

Police report that the driver left the scene heading north on Maple Avenue. The vehicle is described as a dark-colored sedan that will likely show damage to the front due to the collision.
