A man has been arrested after being accused of stealing a delivery van in Toronto’s east end back in October.
Toronto police announced on Saturday that the suspect, 51-year-old Frashad Bagheri, was taken into custody the day before.
He faces charges including theft of a motor vehicle, failing to stop for police, dangerous operation, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000, and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.
These charges are related to an incident on Oct. 4 near Danforth and Jones Avenues.
According to the police report, a driver parked his white cargo van at around 9 a. m. to make a delivery.
While he was gone, Bagheri allegedly took the van.
