A man was taken to the hospital late Friday night after being hit by a pickup truck close to the Veld music festival.
As reported by Toronto police, a 57-year-old driver was operating a 2024 Dodge Ram through a grassy parking lot near Downsview Park following the concert.
Investigators state that a 29-year-old pedestrian was lying on the grass in the parking area around 11:35 p. m. when the truck struck them.
The injured man was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say the driver stayed at the scene and an investigation is currently underway.
