Annadale National Historic Site is the spot to be in Tillsonburg for Canada Day festivities.
TILLSONBURG – Oxford County is getting ready for Canada’s big day.
On Tuesday, Tillsonburg will host an event at Annadale National Historic Site. Cultural Heritage Manager/Curator, Kate Bakos, shares what attendees can look forward to throughout the day.
“We have treats for all, so we have complementary cake, cotton candy, snow cones, and popcorn. We also have carnival games, and we also have the museum open for folks to participate in our find the otters scavenger hunt throughout the house, as well as our guess the Jelly Beans Challenge.”
She adds that some of the carnival games include a ring toss, large Jenga, and a large Connect Four. Bakos mentions there’s no cost for the day.
“No, it’s a completely complementary day and entry to the museum is by donation only, and there will be fireworks at Memorial Park in the evening.”
The fun starts at 11 a. m. and runs until 3:30 p. m. at the Museum.
