Authorities are still actively searching by land and air for a 72-year-old woman from Tillsonburg who was last spotted on Wednesday morning.
The missing woman, identified as Lola – her last name hasn’t been disclosed by the Ontario Provincial Police – was reported missing on November 8.
Police are urging residents in the area known as ‘Bird Subdivision’ to check their home surveillance footage, yards, and buildings for any clues regarding her whereabouts, OPP Const. Conrad Vitalis mentioned in an update early Friday evening.
On Monday afternoon, police confirmed she was last seen near Canary and Martin Streets.
Lola is described as a Black female, approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall with a medium build and weighing around 145 pounds. She has curly dark hair and brown eyes.

At the time she went missing, she was wearing a burgundy hat, a green puffer jacket, and blue jeans. She also had a purse and bag with her.
Vitalis expressed gratitude towards community members for their support.
People are asked to be “patient due to the large police presence as we work to bring Lola back to her family,” he stated.
The search efforts include ground patrols, ATVs, and aerial support from the OPP aviation unit helicopter, according to Vitalis. The canine unit is also involved in the search operation.
