Homeowners say they’ll nonetheless take walk-in and drive-through orders on the restaurant in a excessive crime space of Thunder Bay

Franchisees of a Tim Hortons outlet in a high-crime space in Thunder Bay have determined to shut the eating room.

In a be aware posted on the Might Avenue espresso store’s door, the restaurant’s house owners say dine-in will now not be accessible at this location.

“We shall be comfortable to serve you at storefront for takeout and in our drive-thru (have to be in a car). Thanks on your understanding,” reads the be aware.

There isn’t any reason they’ve closed off their eating room space, although posts on social media have cited open drug use as a longstanding challenge within the space.

A reporter has reached out to the franchisees, however they declined to remark right now.
