Wildfires Rage in Northwestern Ontario

Wildfires Rage in Northwestern Ontario
Six wildfires burning in Northwestern Ontario, two out of control

A recent update from northwestern Ontario reveals that six wildfires are currently active in the area, as shown on the Forest Fire Info Map.

Among these fires, two are out of control, one is being managed, and three are being monitored.

According to crews, one uncontrolled fire near Dryden has expanded to roughly 14,100 hectares.

Residents nearby are being advised to prepare for smoke in their neighborhoods.

As of early evening on June 7, no new fires had been reported in the northwest region.
