Frost Warning Issued for Northwestern Ontario

Chilly temperatures are expected overnight, from Atikokan to Temiskaming Shores.

THUNDER BAY – Attention gardeners.

The city of Thunder Bay and parts of Northwestern Ontario are under a yellow frost warning.

Environment Canada announced the warning on Wednesday morning, indicating that frost is likely to form overnight and continue into Thursday morning.

There could be damage to plants, trees, and crops.

The weather agency advises everyone to take steps to safeguard cold-sensitive plants, trees, and crops.

This warning extends as far west as Lac Seul and Atikokan and as far east as Kirkland Lake and Timiskaming Shores.
