Provincial police indicated that a sudden death south of London, Ont., in the municipality of Central Elgin does not appear to be suspicious.

Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) shared that an unidentified woman was found lying on the side of Sunset Drive between Southdale Line and John Wise Line at about 12:42 a. m. on Feb. 22.

Paramedics attempted life-saving measures before transporting the woman to hospital in St. Thomas, where she was later pronounced dead.

Investigators from forensic services and the chief coroner’s office have concluded that the death is not suspicious, according to police, and no foul play is expected.

No additional details will be released, police mentioned.
